This highly sophisticated Bat Roost is designed for the safe hibernation of bats in winter as well as for roosting, forming of colonies and raising their young during summer.

The overall design and its combination of several insulating materials in a layer structure ensures outstanding insulation but still guarantees sufficient air-convection and permeability. The extremely durable material will last for many decades providing shelter for the bats and is maintenance-free.

By the way, the insulation will not only protect the bats in cold winter but also prevent overheating during summer, e.g.when installed in very sunny or exposed spots.

Siting & positioning:
Position 3 metres or higher above the ground in a place where there is a clear flight path for bats entering and leaving the box.
