Constructed from a mix of concrete and wood fibres, WoodStone nest boxes are long-lasting and extremely well insulated. They safeguard against attacks from predators including woodpeckers, cats and squirrels offering birds a safe place to raise their young.

The material naturally insulates the nest which creates a more consistent internal temperature than ordinary wooden nest boxes. This is especially important during the breeding season and ensures that young birds have a greater chance of survival.

WoodStone bird nest boxes are suitable for siting on houses, walls and trees. We recommend using aluminium nails to hang in trees because they are non-harmful to the trunk.

Ideal for Robins and Wrens (if well hidden), Spotted Flycatchers, Pied and Grey Wagtails, Song Thrushes and Blackbirds.
